Musical Greeting Cards

August 03, 2008 By: admin Category: music related No Comments →

That is why I have become such a fan of musical greeting cards. I send musical cards to most my friends several times a year. I send them for birthdays, holidays, and as a way to cheer people up when they have been away for a long time. There are many different free musical greeting cards that are on the net, so I have my pick of different cards to send. The choices are practically limitless.

I have always had a lot of trouble sending out presents on time for friends birthdays. I always used to miss the dates by just a few days. Although for some people it doesn’t matter, for others it really makes a big difference. No one wants to hurt one of their friends feelings because of absentmindedness, especially when it is avoidable.

Of course, there’s nothing that says that you can not create your own musical greeting cards. Not long ago, musical cards were all actually paper cards with FM computer chips in them. They were beyond the means of most people to make, so you had to buy them in stores. Nowadays, however, your typical musical greeting card is just sent over the Internet. You can program in any song you want if you know how to. You can use pictures, animations – your imagination is the limit.

Another thing I like about musical greeting cards is the caliber of the greetings. I don’t know about you, but I often go into a grocery store and have a lot of trouble finding a holiday greeting card that really suits my style. A lot of them are kind of cheesy and conventional, and few of them are really that imaginative. Somehow, once musical greeting cards got on the Internet the quality improved. Now both the cards you find in-store and online are better than they used to be. All in all, Musical greetings are a great way to brighten up a friend’s day.

Then again, there are plenty of musical online greeting cards available for your perusal. There are a lot of sites that generate ad revenue by giving away musical greeting cards for free. You don’t have to pay anything, and all your friend has to do to support the site is look at an ad while the musical greeting card is loading up on his or her computer. Sometimes, they don’t even have to do that. It is amazing the quantity of high quality services you can get for free on the Internet.

Best Ways To Promote Your Music

May 09, 2008 By: admin Category: free advice, music related, useful information No Comments →

Hire someone to do it for you…

No one will come to your website though if you just set it up and leave it there. You need to get the traffic to the site so people will sit up and take notice of how great your band is. This can be accomplished in several ways including posting on music related forums, linking to other music sites and submitting the site to search engines. If you are more concerned with writing and recording music than worrying about the website, hire someone to do it for you. The minimal investment you’ll make will be well worth the additional traffic to your website and resulting interest in your music. The Internet really does offer unlimited possibilities for people who want to have their songs heard. You just need to think about how to promote your music online so that the people who will potentially enjoy it will actually get a chance to hear it.

You can add musician or band profiles….

Having your own website is also one of the best ways to get your music heard. By setting up a website you are going to have the ability to showcase your work. You can add musician or band profiles, clips of music and even a music video if you’ve had the benefit of making one. You can hire a web designer to create a site that reflects the feel of your music. When you are thinking about how to promote your music online, don’t forget this important step.

You can create a full profile…

Anyone who has a profile on one of the social networking sites, like MySpace or Facebook is likely already aware of the fact that there are some fantastic musicians hanging out on there. MySpace is really the place you need to be if you want to know how to promote your music online. You can create a full profile, upload your music and start inviting friends. One quick glance at some of the musician profiles on MySpace reveals thousands of friends. Many of these people are listening to this music and in some cases people who started their recording careers on MySpace are being offered recording deals.

There is a lot you can do to ensure your future success…

Years ago it seemed that the only way to make it big in the music world was by being signed by a major record label. Of course no one is disputing that this approach can indeed launch a successful singing career but it’s no longer the only way to make it big as a musician. If you are a budding singer, songwriter or musician there is a lot you can do to ensure your future success. If you want to know how to promote your music so that you get the most exposure possible, look to the Internet.

Beatles Candlestick Park, Beatlemania

An historical event…

The 24,000 fans in the stadium that day, did not realize that they were witnessing an historical event. The Beatles had not announced their imminent retirement from live shows. Because of their inability to hear what they were playing on stage, the performances had become shorter and shorter. In fact, this last Beatles Candlestick Park concert only lasted, just over thirty minutes.

Beatlemania forever…

The world hasn’t seen anything like Beatlemania. Every time, the Beatles took to the stage, they were greeted by screaming fans. They couldn’t even hear themselves play. This, combined with some security scares and the endless traveling, persuaded the band to stop touring. Their last official live concert was the Beatles Candlestick concert performance in San Francisco in August 1966.

Beautiful Beatles live story at Candlestick Park

There is quite a bit of merchandise attached to the legendary gig. The band’s publicity agent taped the concert on a cassette recorder and bootleg recordings of this are available. There is also a market , advertising the Beatles Candlestick Park gig , for the greatest “Candlestick Band” ever performed, and in tickets from the show.

The home ground for the NFL San Francisco 49ers…

The Beatles Live At Candlestick Park 1966 Poster….. great memory..

The park had opened in 1960 and was more used to sporting events. Today, it’s the home ground for the NFL San Francisco 49ers. On that day in August, the stadium rang to the sound of some of the band’s most popular songs. Their set included She’s a Woman, Day Tripper, I Feel Fine and Yesterday. They also went back to their rock and roll roots and sang Long Tall Sally.

The only occasion was filmed…

The only occasion when The Beatles got together for a live performance after the Beatles Candlestick Park show was when they made an unannounced appearance on top of a London rooftop. This was filmed for the Let It Be film. It was an exciting journey from the damp cellar of the Cavern club in Liverpool to Candlestick Park. They were the first band to perform in sports stadiums but it’s commonplace now. After they stopped touring, the band spent their time in the recording studio, making the classic albums that are still so popular today.

There wasn’t any moving footage of the concert?

It was thought, for a long time, that there wasn’t any moving footage of the concert. This was until some footage turned up that was shot by a young American fan, who was present that day. Some of this was shown in a BBC television documentary. You can find lot of DVDs and Posters of The Beatles Candlestick Park online.
